Job summary

The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches seeks a Senior Program Leader to direct seasonal direct care staff and coordinate camp activities. The role works with the Camp Director to ensure programs run smoothly, prioritizing youth safety and program quality.

The position requires knowledge of camping processes, staff training, and scheduling, with flexibility for weekend duty and outdoor supervision. A Florida driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year AA Degree in educational or human services field.
• Bachelor’s degree in educational field or related human services preferred.
• High school diploma with at least three years’ camping experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates seasonal direct care staff activities.
• Assists Camp Director and Director of Camping Services to run programs smoothly.
• Recruiting and training Camping Services staff; incident reporting and census responsibilities.
• Maintain standards per Youth Ranches policies, ACA/COA standards and state laws.
• Provide documentation forSummer Camp operations and partnerships.
