Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct and supportive care within a residential setting. You will monitor vitals, respond to crises, assist with medication administration, and document client progress while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent and two years responsible employment.
• Experience in Human Services or related field preferred.
• MAADC I or II certification may be required for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.
• Monitor vital signs and signs of withdrawal; escalate to medical if needed.
• Oversee medication administration per policy and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of client medications and self-administration.
• Document client blood glucose levels and report concerns.
• Facilitate group education and structured activities; provide safe, therapeutic environment.
• Provide client/patient transportation and assist in daily activities.
