Copper Hills Youth Center is a 24/7 secure residential treatment center for adolescents. Behavioral Health Technicians model positive behavior, supervise students, document actions, and support daily goals including education and therapy meetings. They intervene in crises using verbal de-escalation and facilitate group activities in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a high-stress environment.
• Strong problem solving and conflict management abilities.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and document behaviors in a residential setting.
• Serve as a positive role model and ensure daily goals (hygiene, activities, therapy meetings).
• Intervene during student crises using verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Facilitate group interactions and educate students on appropriate behavior and consequences.
