Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Excellent Verbal Communication Skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team and possible high stress environment.

• Ability to effectively manage conflict.
• Must have excellent attendance record.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model for youth while providing close supervision and documenting behaviors.
• Ensure students meet defined daily goals, including hygiene, unit activities, education & therapy meetings.
• Intervene during student crises using verbal-de-escalation and safety techniques.
• Facilitate group interactions and ensure students behave according to standards.
• Educate students on appropriate behavior and possible consequences.
