Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a CANS Assessment Associate based in southeastern Ohio. The role conducts comprehensive CANS assessments for youth ages birth through 21 and coordinates with families, providers, and community partners to connect them to services.

The position requires 2–3 years in community mental health, a high school diploma or GED, and Ohio CANS certification (or ability to certify within 21 days). Travel within designated areas is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Ohio CANS certification or ability to certify within first 21 days.
• 2–3 years in community mental health or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive CANS assessments for children, adolescents and transition‑age youth (birth through 21) in virtual, home, school and community settings.
• Collaborate with families, providers and community partners to translate assessment findings and next steps.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance within EHR and CANS portal.
• Travel within designated service areas and build relationships with referral systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional ethical guidelines.
