Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a CANS Assessment Associate for Southeast Ohio. You will conduct comprehensive assessments for youth and coordinate with families and providers to connect them to services in home, school, and community settings.

The role requires Ohio CANS certification or readiness to certify within 21 days, strong communication, and the ability to manage records in Medicaid-enabled systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and Ohio CANS certification or ability to certify within 21 days.
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Experience in community mental health or related human services setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CANS assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and CANS portal in compliance with state requirements.
• Collaborate with families, clinicians, and partners to interpret assessment findings and next steps.
• Travel within designated service areas as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and professional ethical guidelines.
