Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDA or associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years lead teacher experience with toddlers.
• Strong understanding of toddler development milestones and best practices.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for young toddlers.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports exploration and development.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's milestones and progress.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about growth.
• Supervise classroom assistants and ensure adherence to routines and schedules.
