Job summary

The Learning Experience Cedar Park is seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Cedar Park team. In this role, you'll shape the early learning journey of our youngest learners, creating a safe, engaging classroom environment.

You will plan age-appropriate curriculum, foster social-emotional development, supervise staff, and communicate with families to support each child's growth. Texas licensing requirements must be met or pursued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain).
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to meet Texas state licensing requirements for childcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddler-aged children.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional development.
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities.
• Maintain accurate developmental records, assessments, and documentation for each child.
• Ensure classroom health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
