Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Yield Analysis Engineer who will own key high-volume products across all tech nodes. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to monitor line health and trace yield deviations to closure.

The role involves defense line accuracy, customer material preparation, daily wafer testing, and root-cause analyses to identify sources of yield degradation. A BS/MS in EE, Physics, or ChemE with 7+ years is preferred.

• BS/MS EE, Physics, or ChemE preferred with 7+ years of direct industry experience as Yield, Device, and/or Process Eng

Responsibilities

• Own key high-volume products across all tech nodes and monitor health of the line; trace yield deviations to closure.
• Drive detection source to closure and confirm defense line effectiveness.
• Prepare customer material sets and coordinate cross-functional messaging; participate in meetings.
• Daily wafer testing (EDS) map review and yield summary; perform analytical deep dives and root-cause analysis.
• Conduct change point analyses for spec release on EDS and FT yield; identify bin/zonal issues and propose corrections.
