Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Yield Analysis Engineer to own high-volume products across tech nodes. You will collaborate with customer and internal teams to monitor line health and trace yield deviations to closure, helping defend against recurrence.

Qualifications include 7+ years in yield, device, or process engineering, with understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics. On-site role in Austin, TX with competitive base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct industry experience as Yield, Device, and/or Process Eng.
• Understanding of semiconductor process, coding, process integration, device physics.

Responsibilities

• Yield event closure and defense line: confirm defense line effectiveness to close the yield event.
• Customer yield management: prepare customer material set and coordinate cross-functional messaging.
• Commonality: daily wafer testing (EDS) map review and yield summaries with root-cause analysis for bin and zonal shifts.
• Change-point analyses: own all change-point analyses for EDS and FT yield releases.
