Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a Yield System Development Engineer with a software emphasis to optimize and maintain metrology systems for development and manufacturing. You will collaborate with equipment development, operations, automation, and manufacturing teams to drive yield improvements through data analytics, ML/AI, and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Engineering or Science.
• Master's degree or higher preferred as an additional qualification.
• Experience with software coding (e.g. Python, C#/.NET, HTML, JavaScript) with ML/AI emphasis.
• Experience with statistics and analytical methods.
• 1+ years in an advanced manufacturing environment (semiconductor device fabrication, packaging, or assembly, etc).
• Source control tools (Git) knowledge.
• SQL proficiency (intermediate or better).
• 2+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations to construct process development roadmaps.
• Develop methods and systems to analyze diverse big data sources for yield modeling.
• Maintain systems that interpret fab process, defect, and electrical data to drive yield improvements.
• Apply statistics, ML, and coding techniques to extract insights from large data volumes.
• Transform experimental/manufacturing data into yield improvement actions.
• Ensure manufacturability through thorough analysis of process/product design.
• Execute new product introductions and participate in design of experiments.
• Develop tools and algorithms for high-volume data analysis to identify yield limiters.
• Harden equipment systems to meet operational needs for leading-edge nodes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and implement custom algorithms.
