Job summary

Intel Corporation in the United States (Arizona, Phoenix) is seeking a Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of automation software for high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing.

You will integrate factory systems, interface with equipment, MES, and SPC workflows, and drive improvements in throughput and product quality. Ideal candidates have deep semiconductor automation experience and strong software engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE or related STEM field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing automation, systems integration, or related areas.
• 3+ years' experience with yield management systems (YMS), SPC, and automated yield/SPC workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy automation solutions with partner organizations across wafer prep, die prep, and assembly test manufacturing.
• Interface with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automated manufacturing execution systems, and partner organizations.
• Partner with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, process engineering, and quality teams to understand business needs and translate them into automation solutions.
• Maintain and improve software architecture, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and system‑level debugging for complex integration issues.
• Lead technical discussions, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and drive best practice adoption across the automation team.
• Explore emerging business disruptions and trends in the industry with the objective of identifying opportunities to influence and intercept internal product roadmaps with specific product and/or feature responses.
