Job summary

Silicon Desert Staffing seeks a qualified engineer for a semiconductor wafer fab yield improvement role. You will partner across Process, Equipment, Integration, Product/Test, and Failure Analysis to identify yield-loss mechanisms and implement corrective actions.

Base pay is $193k-$232k with a 20% annual bonus, relocation assistance, and stock. You will drive yield improvement through analysis, lead root-cause investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate problem

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• Semiconductor wafer fab experience in Yield, Process Integration, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, or Failure Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, JMP, statistical analysis, wafer maps, WAT, electrical test, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Drive wafer fab yield improvement through analysis of wafer maps, WAT, electrical test, defect, metrology, and manufacturing data.
• Lead root-cause investigations and DOE activities to identify and eliminate yield loss drivers.
• Utilize SPC, statistical analysis, correlation, regression, and process capability tools to improve manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize processes and accelerate problem resolution.
• Support technology ramps, yield projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
