Job summary

Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seeks Process Integration and Defect Reduction Engineers to support interconnect and advanced packaging for Foveros and EMIB technologies. You will design experiments, analyze large datasets, and optimize fabrication processes to improve yield, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field listed.
• Experience applying DOE methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and SPC tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of inline defect detection and process control is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute experiments to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Analyze process, defect, and yield data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor inline defectivity, parametric performance, and end-of-line yield metrics.
• Investigate process excursions, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage and control technology change implementation within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield, quality, reliability, and cost.
• Support transfer of new technologies into high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop and implement process control strategies to respond to out-of-control conditions.
• Lead projects focused on defect reduction and manufacturing efficiency.
• Respond to quality events and disposition support across product lifecycle.
