Job summary

Intel in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Engineer to drive yield improvements, quality standards, and manufacturing excellence across our semiconductor technologies.

You will analyze data using advanced statistical methods and machine learning, perform failure analyses, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve yield issues and enable high-volume production.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science or related STEM field.
• Experience with yield analysis and quality improvement.
• Strong data analysis and statistics background.
• Ability to work on-site at Intel Rio Rancho, NM.

Responsibilities

• Conduct yield and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions that enhance product yield and reliability.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data mining techniques to extract actionable insights.
• Develop and implement advanced methodologies and techniques to improve analysis quality, efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product engineering, and manufacturing to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement quality programs to optimize manufacturing performance and standards.
• Evaluate materials, processes, and techniques used in production to ensure compliance with quality and reliability requirements.
• Specify and develop inspection and testing mechanisms to identify and address non-conformances and process deviations.
• Lead technology transfer efforts and new product qualifications from development through high-volume manufacturing.
• Perform risk assessments and manage process changes to prevent quality excursions and ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Develop tools, algorithms, and systems for high-volume data analysis to identify critical process improvements and yield enhancement opportunities.
