Job summary

Tarkett’s Yarn facility seeks a Production Manager to lead production planning, staffing and daily manufacturing operations. You will partner with the Plant Manager to develop and control budgets while ensuring cost-effective production of high-quality products for customers.

Essential skills include leadership, budgeting, process improvement, root cause analysis and strong communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a leadership/supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Proficient with PC and department databases/systems.
• Experience with 4D/Root Cause Analysis and problem solving.
• Budgeting and expense control to improve quality and costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan production operations and priorities for the department.
• Schedule production orders to meet deadlines and specs.
• Develop and work with supervisors on staffing and discipline.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Partner with Plant Manager on budgets and cost control.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with standards.
