Tarkett, a global leader in flooring, seeks a Production Manager for its Yarn facility to lead production planning, staffing and daily manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include setting priorities, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety and quality, and collaborating with senior management on budgets and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high quality products on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in a leadership/supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Proficient with PC and department databases.
• Experience with 4D/Root Cause Analysis.
• Budgeting and expense control knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans production operations, priorities and sequences; monitors schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure a safe working environment; participates in maintenance and safety programs.
• Lead employee relations, scheduling, problem solving and remediation with supervision and HR.
• Collaborate with safety and quality teams to maintain standards and training.
• Assist management in budgeting and cost control initiatives.
• Participate in short-term planning meetings addressing labor, processes and materials.
