Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Production Associate in Dalton, GA to oversee daily operations within the Production Department. You will handle production coverage, respond to issues, and mentor new associates through training plans. The role requires SAP proficiency, data analysis, and effective cross-department communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; college degree is a plus.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of machines and support equipment.
• Capable of executing SAP system requirements and reporting.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime on short notice.
• Strong communication across departments and teams.

Responsibilities

• Production responsibility for assigned coverage area.
• First responder to issues impacting production and escalate when needed.
• Train/implement training plans for new associates and temps.
• Evaluate training effectiveness (on-the-job training, materials, assessments).
• Complete Train the Trainer program.
• Lead proactive team efforts toward goals and problem resolution.
• Utilize SAP for production reporting and issue investigation.
