Job summary

Trelleborg’s Engineered Coated Fabrics operation is seeking a Department Supervisor reporting to the Production Manager to oversee Make-up and Lamination departments on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will supervise hourly staff, coordinate with managers, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

The role requires prior manufacturing and supervisory experience, ERP familiarity (SAP), and strong MS Office skills; on-site work with lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience required.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations of machinery, including morning start-up and change-overs.
• Supervise hourly personnel and manage daily break schedule.
• Maintain effective communication across all levels to support goals and engagement.
• Coordinate with Production Manager, Operations Manager, EHS Team, and leads to meet daily metrics.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvements and provide training as needed.
• Provide performance feedback and disciplinary actions when required.
• Assist in safety audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
