Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to manage the receiving penning and movement of cattle toward the slaughter department in a humane, safe manner. You will work closely with the management team to meet objectives, take on department accountability, and lead by example on all shift activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years in kill floor; general knowledge of production operations and techniques.
• Food safety awareness and understanding of product yields and USDA regulations.
• Good written and verbal communication; bilingual helpful.
• Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork and lead hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team members.
• Manage receiving, penning and movement of cattle to the slaughter department.
• Collaborate with management to meet objectives and day-to-day department responsibilities.
