Job summary

Tyson Foods in Temperanceville, VA is seeking a 2nd shift lead to manage live receiving paperwork, breaks, and line assignments. You will coordinate with growers and the live hangers, ensuring accurate transfer of information to reporting forms and keeping eviscerating and shipping informed of birds run.

The role requires 6 months with one employer in the last year, basic reading/writing and math, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and have a basic knowledge of math.
• Must possess and utilize good communication skills.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Lock-out/Tag-out certified.
• Good attendance record and a 90-day rehire criteria.
• 6 months of continuous work experience with one employer within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Track paperwork and changes for live receiving, grower changes and transfers.
• Coordinate breaks and move team members on the line as needed.
• Assist supervisor with day-to-day line personnel and paperwork.
• Alert supervisor/management to problems as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with USDAs requirements.
• Support eviscerating and shipping teams with relevant information.
