Job summary

Optima, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a meticulous Business Manager to lead on-site operations for a multi-million-dollar luxury apartment community. You will process leases, handle rent collections, financial reporting and vendor relations while delivering exceptional resident service.

The role requires 2–3 years of on-site property management experience, proficiency with Yardi Voyager and Rent Café, and strong communication and budgeting skills. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree favored.
• 2–3 years of on-site property management experience (luxury apartment community preferred).
• Experience maintaining accounting reports and operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Process leases and move-in/move-out documentation with complete records.
• Post payments in Yardi Voyager to maintain accurate financial records.
• Issue notices to delinquent residents and assist eviction processes with attorney as needed.
• Audit rentables and guest suite charges monthly, and prepare month-end worksheets.
• Process and code invoices related to property operations and maintenance.
• Maintain open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost renewals and profitability.
