Aerotek in Nashville is seeking an Entry Level Yard Technician to join our shop and yard operations. You will clean the lot, operate machines, refuel equipment, prepare items for rental, and assist with various tasks while interacting with customers and mechanics.

This contract-to-hire role is outdoors, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with paid training and growth opportunities toward a mechanic path within Aerotek.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating construction or tractor equipment.
• Comfortable driving heavy machinery like tractors, bobcats, and forklifts.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn and advance in mechanical roles.

Job Description

Join a dynamic equipment and tool rental company where you will be actively involved in maintaining the shop and yard. Your role will include cleaning around the lot, operating machines, fueling equipment, preparing items for rental, and assisting with various tasks as needed. You will interact with customers and assist shop mechanics, making this a hands-on and customer-facing position.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Work Environment

You will work in a shop with 5-6 employees, primarily outdoors on a dealership site. Be prepared for all weather conditions, including rain, snow, cold, and heat. The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
