Talentify is seeking a Clerk to provide front-line support in a production-based service center. You will welcome customers, understand their service needs, prepare repair quotes, and enter orders into the company database with accuracy.

The role requires at least 6 months of automotive/mechanical customer service, strong communication, and proficient Microsoft Office use. This is a contract-to-hire, fully onsite position in Billings, MT.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience in an automotive or mechanical field.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Basic data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to read or interpret basic service information, such as blueprints or equipment documentation, as needed.

Work Environment

This role is based in a production-focused service center operating standard daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any overtime occurs after the regular shift and remains optional, offering flexibility for work-life balance. The environment involves regular interaction with equipment, machinery, and parts, as well as the use of Microsoft programs and a company database for order and inventory management. The dress code is casual and practical, with jeans and a T-shirt appropriate for daily wear, and steel-toe footwear required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
