Responsibilities

• Moves trailers between yard and doors; hooks and moves parked trailers between yard and load/unload points.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management or central control.
• Documents trailer moves in Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages onto/from vehicles and conveyor carts; sorts by hand.
