Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety procedures.
• Ability to discern numbers when sorting and loading packages.

Responsibilities

• Moves trailers between yard, doors and load/unload areas.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management or control.
• Documents trailer moves in Yard Management System or with switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Performs package handling, loading/unloading onto vehicles and conveyors.
• Sorts packages by scanning labels and reading charts, for efficient routing.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
