Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches moving a parked trailer from yard to door or from door to yard.
• Communicates with management to coordinate trailer movements.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages onto/from delivery vehicles, trailers, and carts.
• Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages for shifts of two to four hours.
• Sorts packages by scanning labels and numbers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
