Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation in Columbus, NE is seeking a Yard Administrator to oversee scale operations and administrative tasks. You will schedule key events, facilitate communications, and manage day-to-day yard activities under the Facility Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred, plus 2 years cashier experience and 1–3 years office support experience. First shift, weekly pay, with OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years cashier experience in retail and 1–3 years clerical/office support.
• Experience coordinating with managers and handling customer service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and respond to questions from customers, vendors and staff.
• Code invoices in Datrose and manage accounts payable entries.
• Perform scale transactions at the truck scale and process housing materials.
• Prepare export documentation and photograph loads as required.
• Maintain daily reports and support facility operations under the Facility Manager.
