Alter Trading Corp in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an energetic Scale Administrator to join our operations. You will visually verify inbound/outbound vehicles on the scale deck, enter weights and material codes, and help with daily clerical duties under the Yard Manager.

This full-time, hourly role pays $19.00 to $21.00 per hour and offers benefits including a 401(k) with matching, health insurance, a flexible spending account, paid time off, and other standard company perks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ cashier experience in retail and 1–3 years in office/clerical roles preferred.
• Intermediate Word/Excel skills and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Visually verify inbound/outbound vehicles on scale deck and enter weights.
• Verify material type and enter codes in computer.
• Process customer payments and verify pay information.
• Sort tickets by material codes and complete data entry.
• File paperwork and answer calls, directing inquiries as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks and develop regular reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
