Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Yard Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, manage inbound/outbound flow, and drive continuous improvement. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and quality, and align operations with client SLAs and budgets.

Responsibilities include coaching personnel, coordinating with HR for hiring/training, and delivering reliable service while maintaining cost efficiency and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems and procedures for operations, equipment, and products.
• Leads warehouse staff and supervisors to meet KPI targets and ensure safety.
• Drives continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manages client relationships and communications with senior management and customers.
• Oversees training and performance evaluations for staff.
