Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, manage space, and oversee equipment, while guiding hiring, training, and performance assessments.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, meeting client KPIs, and ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and cost objectives, with effective communication to leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehousing, receiving, and shipping operations.
• Plan inbound/outbound volume, space utilization, and equipment management.
• Hire and train staff; conduct performance appraisals and address issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and meet client KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
