Job summary

Truss Craft of Wyoming, a Mead Lumber Company, is seeking a full-time yard worker to safely load building materials, receive vendor deliveries, and maintain yard organization.

The role requires physical strength, a valid driver's license, forklift knowledge, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather. Starting pay is $20.00+ per hour depending on experience and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to operate forklift and obtain certification.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Physically capable of lifting 75 pounds.
• Willing to work outside in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
• Load trucks according to the list of materials on the sales invoice.
• Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo.
• Listen and work with customers to solve customer needs.
• Cut and prepare materials (such as I-joists or LVLs) for customer orders when needed.
• Assist with basic maintenance and safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, banders, or saws.
• Help maintain yard organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Assist with occasional deliveries and unloading materials for customers when needed.
