Job summary

Rival Holdings is seeking a yard associate to maintain the yard, organize lumber, and support plant operations. You will operate a forklift, load and unload material, and ensure inventory is accurate while adhering to safety standards.

You will inspect lumber quality, assist in building truss packages, and coordinate with the team to keep workflow efficient. Regular attendance and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a Tow Motor and forklift with onsite training.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and assess material quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Regular, punctual attendance and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to stack and organize lumber of various sizes.
• Inspect lumber for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Safely load trusses onto trucks for delivery.
• Relocate trusses and stage materials in the yard.
• Build truss packages and prepare for delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of wood products and hangers.
• Unload and receive product from vendors and verify packing slips.
• Collaborate with teammates to optimize workflow and safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Regular and overtime work as an essential function.
