Job summary

PSS Industrial Group is seeking a yard and equipment assistant to unload, inventory, fuel, and move rental machinery within a busy yard in Midland, TX. You will maintain an orderly space, pressure wash equipment for rent readiness, and support management with related tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience; forklift operation is preferred. A proactive team player with attention to detail will excel in this environment that values safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with additional equipment-related requests from management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: Maintains upkeep of the yard and equipment to ensure smooth operations of our rental business. Primary objective will be to assist and perform yard related duties to ensure equipment is ready to go out and as it returns ready to be check and serviced.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unloads new, used, and rental machines, while maintaining and organizing inventory of equipment.
• Checks in, fuels, operates, and moves equipment in the yard.
• Maintains an orderly yard free of debris, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods and equipment.
• Pressure washes equipment to ensure it is rent ready.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Assist the company is any other items that is request related to our equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• One to two years related experience.
• Previous experience operating a forklift and/or other heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Acute attention to detail, positive attitude.
• Must be able to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm, and the capability to multitask.
