Job summary

Target Corporation is hiring a Yard Driver for our Distribution Center. The role involves driving tractors/trailers in the yard, backing trailers into docks, and coordinating with Dispatch and Yard staff to move trailers safely and efficiently.

You will maintain safety inspections and operate equipment per procedures, with eligibility for health benefits, 401(k), and other company programs. The starting pay is $27.00 per hour, plus a shift differential of $2.00–$3.50 per hour where eligible.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license for state employed
• Able to lift/move materials up to 60 lbs infrequently and 30 lbs frequently
• Good math and basic reading of trailer information required
• Able to operate computer systems with training and follow safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate tractors/trailers in yard, back up trailers into dock/yard locations
• Hook and unhook trailers and communicate with Dispatch and Yard Coordinators
• Complete tasks accurately and on time while adhering to safety protocols

Skills
