Job summary

Target is seeking a Yard Driver to drive and operate tractors/trailers in the yard, back trailers into doors and yard locations, and communicate with Dispatch to keep operations safe and efficient. This frontline distribution center role supports getting product to guests quickly across the enterprise.

You must be able to lift up to 60 lbs infrequently, read trailer information and safety procedures, and work in all weather. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs infrequently.
• Able to read trailer information and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to operate tractors and trailers safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate tractors/trailers in the yard.
• Back up trailers into dock and yard locations.
• Hook and unhook trailers and communicate with Dispatch.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of vehicles.
• Complete tasks accurately and on time.
