Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is hiring a Yard Driver in the Oconomowoc, WI area. The role focuses on moving 53 ft. semi-trailers safely within the warehouse, with yard tractor operations, parking and loading dock handling, and a strong emphasis on safety.

OT rules apply after 40 hours, with paid time and a half. Shift is Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 6PM–6AM, with $23/hour starting pay and potential increases after 90 days and 1 year.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• No CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Primary tasks will be basic yard tractor operations, dropping and pulling trailers in dock doors and parking them onsite.
• Safely maneuver and back semi-trailers.
• Safely enter/exit semi-trailer multiple times an hour, place and remove wheel chocks, lift and open doors.
• Follow safety procedures.
• OT after 40 hours at paid time and half.
• Consistent Schedule, Home Daily-never leave the yard!
• No loading/unloading merchandise.
• Truck driving experience preferred.
• No CDL required.

About The Job

The Yard Driver is responsible for moving 53 ft. semi-trailers safely within the warehouse. This includes navigating tight spaces, moving trailers in and out of loading docks and parking spots. The ideal candidate would possess a high level of special awareness, be proficient in operating tractor trailers, and always prioritize safety.

• $23/hour starting pay based on shift.
