RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to service semi-trailers on-site in the Findlay, OH area. The role emphasizes mobile service work, diagnosing and repairing various trailer systems, and communicating clearly with customers.

The ideal candidate has trailer or diesel mechanic experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Benefits include competitive hourly pay and safety bonuses.

Qualifications

• Trailer Mechanic experience required.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $23-$28/hour or commensurate with experience.
