RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic in Joliet, IL to diagnose and repair semi-trailer systems. You must be self-motivated, safety-minded, and able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts.
• Operate the mobile Service Truck safely and professionally.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $25-$30/hour - commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

Requirements

• Must be an experienced Trailer Mechanic.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
