Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Yard and Dock Coordinator in Pryor Creek, OK. The role focuses on safe, efficient trailer movement, dock operations, and cross-functional teamwork to meet daily priorities.

You’ll partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards and process guidelines while delivering strong customer service and leadership on the dock.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environments.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support of dock tools and equipment.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow with safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and stop-work if unsafe conditions occur.
• Partner with operations, transportation, and customer teams daily.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines and safety.
• Support dock/yard organization following 7S standards.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify risks and delays.
• Use Office 365/Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and peers as needed.
