Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Yard and Dock Coordinator for weekends on the 3rd shift to ensure safe, efficient trailer movement and dock operations. You will partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to execute daily tasks with accountability and customer service excellence.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination of dock activities, and adherence to safety guidelines and site SWIs. A strong focus on teamwork and operational discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation‑related environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements.
• Manage docking, release, and yard flow while following safety standards and processes.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues; maintain 7S workplace standards.
