Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on site and keep a maintenance schedule. You will inspect gear before and after rentals, document any losses or damage, and support a safety-focused team environment.

The role requires basic math, effective communication, and the ability to operate common construction tools. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow into mechanic or driver roles within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction/industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Service equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental and document losses or damage.
