Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Porter/Yard Worker to join our team. You will be stationed on the location’s lot, helping to position and retrieve equipment and ensure it meets all specs.

The role offers opportunity to move into mechanic, driver, or customer service positions in a safety-driven environment. A high school diploma and basic tools experience are preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment to meet specifications.
• Inspects equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.
