Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on-site and to perform basic servicing to ensure equipment meets specifications. The role includes documenting losses or damages and maintaining safety on a fast-paced job site.

The Yard Associate will inspect equipment before and after rental, follow the maintenance schedule, and assist with related duties. Growth opportunities into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles are possible within a safety-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station the equipment on the location’s property and retrieve it as needed.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental and document any lost or damaged items.
