Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on site, maintain maintenance schedules and inspect gear for damage. The role offers growth into mechanic, driver or customer service tracks in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle basic math, communicate with customers, and use MS Office; prior repair experience and knowledge of tools are pluses. A safety-focused team environment and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Service equipment as necessary to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document losses or damages.
