Vermeer Midwest in Fowlerville, MI is seeking a reliable Yard and Shop Attendant to support our service department and keep the yard and shop organized. This full-time role requires hands-on work, safety awareness, and the ability to operate equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves assisting parts, sales and service teams, maintaining cleanliness, preparing equipment for customers, loading/unloading, and inventory organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CDL a plus if applicable.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment with proper training.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Equipment Shop & Yard Attendant to support our service department and assist customers. This role is essential in keeping our yard, shop, and equipment organized, clean, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, safety-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
