Job summary

Vermeer Midwest in Fowlerville, MI is seeking a Parts Specialist who helps customers find parts for heavy equipment, answering questions in person and by phone, and collaborating with our service team.

The role blends customer service with inventory and stockroom duties, with paid on-the-job training to grow your skills. You’ll use catalogs, schematics, and inventory systems to identify parts and process orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1+ year in a customer service role (parts counter experience a plus).
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and general computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries.
• Use catalogs, schematics, and systems to identify needed parts.
• Process incoming shipments and restock inventory.
• Accurately fill customer and service department orders.
• Prepare invoices, sales receipts, and related documentation.
• Perform inventory checks and help maintain organized stock.

What You’ll Do

As a Parts Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers needing parts and accessories for heavy equipment. This hands‑on role combines customer service with inventory and stockroom operations. You’ll work closely with our service team and receive paid, on‑the‑job training to grow your skills.

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries

What You Bring

• Ability to life up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
