Job summary

Sourcebooks, a leading publisher of YA titles, seeks a Marketing and Publicity Associate to drive campaigns for frontlist and backlist titles. You’ll collaborate with sales, digital, retail, and editorial teams and build strong author relationships through events and media placements.

You’ll manage social media content, influencer outreach, and press materials, with opportunities to lead creative campaigns and participate in reader conventions.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in book publishing, digital marketing, or publicity
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities
• Experience with influencer programs and social media marketing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Interest in YA titles and author relations

Responsibilities

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks YA titles
• Plan and execute social media marketing initiatives
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, partnerships
• Coordinate newsletter features
• Represent marketing to authors and help build social media presence
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal opportunities
• Attend selected reader conventions throughout the year
• Collaborate with marketing and publicity teams on campaigns
