Sourcebooks seeks a Marketing and Publicity Associate to expand the reach of its YA titles across imprints. You will plan digital content, support social initiatives, and grow influencer programs for mailings, events, and partnerships.

You will collaborate closely with authors and internal teams to craft compelling campaigns, develop press materials, and coordinate newsletters while attending select reader conventions throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in book publishing, digital marketing, publicity, or related field.
• Strong writing skills and confidence in creating engaging social content.
• Adept at designing online graphics and using tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Keen understanding of the importance of teen books.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration on multi-faceted campaigns.
• Comfort presenting ideas to internal and external partners.
• Love for books and belief in their power to change lives.

Responsabilités

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks frontlist and backlist YA titles.
• Support planning and execution of social media marketing initiatives.
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, and partnerships.
• Coordinate newsletter features.
• Represent marketing efforts to authors and help develop their social media presence.
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal opportunities.
