Sourcebooks is seeking a Marketing and Publicity Associate to lead digital content, social media initiatives, and influencer programs for our YA list. You will collaborate with sales, digital, retail, and editorial teams to amplify campaigns, while building relationships with authors and the children’s book community through events and media placements.

You will contribute to newsletters, pitch press material, and coordinate cross-team promotions, with opportunities to travel for select reader

Formación

• 2–3+ years in book publishing, digital marketing, publicity, or related field
• Strong writing skills for social content
• Ability to design online graphics with Canva and Photoshop
• Able to manage multiple projects with deadlines
• Understanding of teen books and their audience
• Collaborative for multi-faceted campaigns
• Confident presenting ideas to partners
• Passion for books and their impact

Responsabilidades

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks frontlist and backlist YA titles
• Support planning and execute social media marketing initiatives
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, and partnerships
• Coordinate newsletter features
• Represent marketing efforts to authors and help develop their social media presence
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal opportunities
• Attend select reader conventions
• Collaborate with teams to form creative, full-rounded campaigns
